• Redstone Park: a park with excellent amenities. It includes a large playground, picnic areas, sports fields and a pond. The park also has walking trails perfect for a leisurely stroll. 
• Wildcat Mountain Open Space: A hidden gem! This space provides a peaceful, natural setting with scenic views of the surrounding areas. The trails are perfect for those looking for a more tranquil hiking experience, with less foot traffic than other nearby parks. 

3. Strong sense of community: A wide range of events and programs promote community engagement and fun. Some examples include:

• 4th of July Celebration: One of the most anticipated community events of the year in the community. The celebration includes fireworks, a parade, live entertainment, and a variety of activities. A fun filled day for people of all ages. 
• Highlands Ranch Farmers Market: Typically held June through October, these weekly farmers market features fresh produce, local artisan products, and live music. A great event to support local vendors in a community atmosphere. 
• Movie in the Park Event: The Highlands Ranch Metro District hosts free outdoor movie nights in the park. Community members can bring blankets and snacks and enjoy a movie under the stars. Great way for community members to enjoy the summer evenings together. 
• Trick- or- Treat Street; A community event that takes place at Highlands Ranch Town Center where stores provide trick or treat opportunities, carnival games, and costume contests for community members to enjoy. 
• Winter Festival: A festive community event to kick off the holiday season. Includes ice-skating, visits with Santa, crafts, games and more. A wonderful way for the community to come together to celebrate the holidays. 

4. Proximity to Denver and the Mountains: The big advantage of this neighborhood is it is only a 20-mile drive to downtown Denver, making it super convenient for those that work in the city but prefer living in a quieter suburban area. Additionally, the foothills and mountain access are just a short drive away, providing opportunities for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor adventures.
