MEET THE TEAM
We are a talented group of female entreprenuers who all have a passion for helping people find their dream homes. Founded by Emily Roet, Charm Gilmore and Shay Hata, the team specializes in the sale of new and existing homes in the Denver and Boulder areas. With over 50 years of combined experience, we joined forces to create the Buy Sell Love Denver Team so we could combine our strengths to better serve our clients with top notch customer service and personal attention .

Leveraging our experiences as successful small business owners, we are known for outstanding client service, 24/7 availability, high tech marketing techniques, personal touches and as skilled negotiators with our client’s best interests at heart. We believe strongly that it is not only our duty to represent our clients to the best of our ability, but also to educate them throughout every step of the process armed with top notch information and market insight, so that our clients make the best decisions possible. We are honest, sometimes telling clients things they might not want to hear, hard working and extremely knowledgeable about the real estate industry.

Emily graduated with a MBA from NYU before moving to Denver over 30 years ago and becoming a Realtor. Having lived in Denver since her 30's she knows every neighborhood like the back of her hand giving her extensive knowledge of the city which helps her buyers find their perfect home quickly. In addition to being an enthusiastic buyer’s agent, Emily, is also a skilled listing agent and has sold several hundred Denver homes. Emily has acquired an extensive network of professional relationships, meaning that she always knows the right people for any job and can offer recommendations when clients need work done on their homes.Emily is the team's pricing expert; no one can price a property better than her with her complicated graphs and spreadsheets.
Charm brings a degree in journalism and a global upbringing to the team as well as 30 years of experience living in Denver. She has a unique perspective and sharp communication skills. After owning a small technology company, she transitioned into real estate—drawn to the blend of human connection, strategy, and detail-oriented work and she thrives on the intricacies of contracts, marketing plans, and negotiations, and approaches each transaction with clarity, calm confidence, and a deep respect for the process. Known for being warm, funny, and smart, Charm builds trust quickly with clients and prides herself on making clients feel both informed and supported every step of the way.
Rounding out the team is Shay, who prior to real estate oversaw the marketing and public relations campaigns for Fortune 500 companies in New York City and graduated from Dartmouth before completing Harvard's Negotiation Institute program. Shay founded the Buy Sell Love Chicago Team almost 15 years ago before moving to Denver, which she now calls home. Her Chicago team does hundreds of millions of dollars in sales and is consistently voted one of the top teams in Chicago. Shay’s extensive knowledge of real estate systems and technology as well as contracts and renovations for the almost 15 years she's been in real estate is a tremendous asset to the Denver team. Shay moved to the Denver suburbs in 2020 and is our in house suburban expert.
WE BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK
As a team, we are firm believers in giving back and are particularly passionate about animal rescue (all of us have rescue dogs) and public education as we are all the product of strong public education programs. We volunteer with several animal rescue organizations and donate a portion of each commission to local animal rescue groups and local schools on behalf of ours clients. Currently we donate to Canine Companions which trains future service dogs as well as the local public school, unless our client has a favorite charity they would like us to donate to instead.
