1. Washington Park - The Heart of the Neighborhood! Highly regarded as one of Denver's best parks, it spans 155 acres with lakes, gardens and miles of trails. It is the perfect spot for jogging, biking, walking, paddle boarding, and for an afternoon picnic. The park includes 2 lakes, a boathouse, and basketball courts! It is home to the historic Perennial Garden, modeled after George Washington's Mount Vernon gardens.

·         Wash Park Turkey Trot: A fun event held Thanksgiving morning; it is one of the neighborhoods biggest traditions. The 4-mile Wash Park Turkey Trot attracts thousands of runners and walkers, benefits the United Way and incudes a festive atmosphere with music, costumes, and post-race refreshments. 

·         Jazz in the Park at Wash Park: Enjoy listening to music? You will love the summer months here with FREE live jazz concerts. People bring picnic blankets, food and drinks for a relaxing evening of music under the stars with community members.
