Closing day is almost here! Whoo hoo!
You will attend the closing at the Title company unless you have already presigned your documents. Plan to be there 1 - 2 hours. After closing ends, the Title company will email us both a copy of the HUD/settlement statement showing the exact breakdown of the closing cost charges and your net; please keep this for your tax records. The Title company will also arrange for the balance of your loan to be paid off with the proceeds from closing. If you are receiving additional money back from closing once your loan has been paid off in full, the Title company will either wire transfer those funds to you or you can stop by their office to pick up your closing check if you did not attend closing in person.
